黄苏亚   Su-ya Huang

1932年生于中国台山市。自幼酷爱绘画。50年美校毕业后，又拜名家邝洪、黄畅亭为师，研习国画，再寻炭相大师邝舜琴学艺。从此入门炭相至今数十年。擅长人物肖像写真，作品广为海内外人士收藏。1994年起，在温哥华参加联展及会员年展达10余次。前几年，开始广开画路，多画花鸟虫鱼，飞禽走兽。近作国画「金龙降福迎千禧」为台北市府收藏。

Su-ya Huang was born in 1932 in China, and graduated from the College of Fine Arts. He took up the art of Chinese painting soon after his graduation and went on to study charcoal drawing. His talent in charcoal drawing was immediately recognized and his work gained him a famous reputation as the years went by. He immigrated to Canada in 1990 where he joined the CCAFV and has since participated in numerous joint exhibitions.
