Cynthia
Wu’s landscaping miniature art gives us micro representations of our
extraordinary world. She immigrated to Canada in 1993 and for the last 18
years, she has earnestly kept up her enthusiasm in mastering her painting
skills. She has created a unique way of expressing the beauty of landscaping
in Chinese brush painting by making use of the texture and shape of the
rock. She won the Century Prize Award in the 1st Annual CCAFV Competition
and Exhibition and was also the winner in the 67th Annual International
Exhibition of Fine Art Miniature (The miniature painters, Sculptors and
Engravers Society of Washington, D.C.)
