Born in Hong Kong. He became an accomplished Chinese painter and calligrapher when young. Then he took up photography at the age of 50. Mr. Tam now uses his camera as an alternative tool to his painting brush. Mr. Tam has traveled extensively in Mainland China and published many books on painting and photography. He also has hosted many exhibitions on Photography and Chinese calligraphy in Hong Kong and China. He is a member of the Hong Kong Chinese Artistic Association and a regular contributor with a special column in “The Camera World”. One of his photographs has been adopted as the front cover of Readers Digest.
