廣州出生。畢業於廣州大學及葛量洪教育學院。曾從事影藝工作。於司徒氏學校曾任職校長。隨李秉、司徒奇學習中、西畫藝。創辦「佩蘭畫苑」，舉行畫展於中、港區。1992年移民加國，參加華人藝協，秉承蒼城門下精神，致力發揚中國藝術文化。

Originally from Guangzhou, China. He graduated from Canton University and Grantham College of Education in Hong Kong. He was a primary school headmaster and later was involved in filmmaking. He learned Western painting from Mr. Ping Lee and Chinese painting from Mr. Kei Szeto. He established the "Pulley Studio" and held many solo and joint exhibitions in Hong Kong. He immigrated to Canada with his family in 1992 and then joined the CCAFV as a member, engrossing himself in the study and teaching of Chinese art.
