广东惠州人。毕业于广东省立体育学院。早年从黄君壁大师习画，1974年毕业于赵少昂岭南艺苑。作品先后于美、加、日、槟城、香港、台湾等地展出，深获好评。1995年列入中国当代艺术界名人录，兼获铜鼎奖，中华人物辞海文化上册，千禧年获中国颁发新世纪优秀人材证书。
Soon after graduating from Kwan Tung Provincial Physical
Education College, Kwun-Yin Liu began studying Chinese painting under
Chun-Pi Huang and Shao-An Chao. Kwun-Yin has also held and participated in
numerous solo and joint exhibitions in both Canada and the United States,
Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. She has won a bronze medal and has
been listed in China's Who's Who of Outstanding Contemporary Chinese Artists
in 1995 as well as being named one of the Outstanding Artists of the New
Millenium from China in the year 2000.
