Liu Hsiang-Wen was born in Xiandong in 1935. He liked to paint since his early age. In Taiwan he had studied Chinese landscape painting from two masters, and participated in group shows. After immigrating to Vancouver in 1993, Mr. Yuk-Man Lai, Mr. John Chen and Mr. Chun-Chieh Chang all became his teachers. He is a permanent member of the CCAFV, and a member of other art clubs in Richmond and Vancouver. He has shown his works in many group exhibitions in the past several years.
