林端升生于南非，长于东非。受教育在东非和英国伦敦。1968年移居加拿大，在卑诗大学读地产按揭，领有地产经纪牌照。以绘画自娱，师从侯晏然女士，1996年再随周士心教授习画，2006年随陈蕴化老师学习岭南画艺。现为现为加拿大温哥华华人艺术家学会永久会员，作品曾参加多次重要联展及历届温哥华华人艺术家协会年展。
Dawn Gin
was bom in Cape Town South Africa and grew up in East Africa where she
received her education, as well as in London, England. Dawn immigrated to
Canada in 1968 and took a Real Estate and Mortgage broker licensing course
through UBC. She started Chinese brush painting lessons as a hobby with
Margaret Chinn and is currently a student of Professor Su-Sing Chow since
1996. She is also a member of the CCAFV and has participated in Art
exhibitions held in the Richmond Art Gallery, Delta Arts Council, UBC and
Yale town.
