苏尧光艺术兴趣源自高中时代，于西印度洋千里达。是千里达艺术协会会员。曾在卑诗大学取得彩墨课程。随后也与多位老师习画。现为加拿大温哥华华人艺术家学会永久会员，作品曾参加多次重要联展及历届温哥华华人艺术家协会年展。

Cyril Soolum was interested in art during high school in Trinidad, West Indies. And was a member of The Trinidad Art Society. He initially took Ink & Color painting classes at UBC and then took lessons from time to time with various art teachers. He was a former active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and participated in its juried show. He is a member of the Chinese Culture & Art Association of Canada and participated in various Association shows, and is also a member of the CCAFV.
