Professor Chow was born in Suzhou, China in 1923 and was a graduate of Suzhou Fine Arts College. Professor Chow’s works have so far received 23 major art awards and many honours. He has hold around 130 joint or solo art exhibitions. His works have been collected by museums internationally, including the National Museum of Canada. To date a total of 32 cultural institutions have claimed 53 of his paintings as part of their permanent collection. He has also published 16 books totalling 24 volumes of books on art. He is the Founding President of the Chinese Canadian Artists Federation in Vancouver.
