中國蘇州人，八歲始隨父習畫。1944年畢業於蘇州美專。1949年移居香港，1957年穫香港青年國畫比賽冠軍。1971年移居美國。1980年定居加拿大。自此曾任教台港美加五間大學。獲23項創作大獎及榮譽。他曾在130次聯展和個展中展出作品。
另有53件作品，為32個國際文化機構和博物館收藏。至今已出版16種(24冊)有關藝術的書籍。 他是溫哥華華人藝術家協會首屆會長。
Professor Su-Sing Chow was born in Suzhou,
China in 1923 and was a graduate of Suzhou Fine Arts College. Professor
Chow’s works have so far received 23 major art awards and many honors. He
has hold around 130 joint or solo art exhibitions. His works have been
collected by museums internationally, including the National Museum of
Canada. To date a total of 32 cultural institutions have claimed 53 of his
paintings as part of their permanent collection. He has also published 16
books totaling 24 volumes of books on art. He is the First President of
the Chinese Canadian Artists Federation in Vancouver.
