Lau Wei-Yin

Mr. Lau was born in Zhungshan, China and moved to Hong Kong in 1957. He graduated in Chinese Language and Literature from Kingsway College, Hong Kong in 1966. He also learned Chinese Calligraphy under Mr. Kwung-Hou Fung. After he immigrated to Canada in 1968, he studied Contemporary Art with Mr. Chien-Shih Lin. His art works were listed among Contemporary Famous Arts of China in 1995 and have also been collected by The Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa. Mr. Lau has held numerous solo and joint exhibitions and teaches Calligraphy in the Chinese Culture Centre and the Vancouver School Board.
