刘渭贤 Wai-Yin
Lau
1941年出生于中国中山，1966年毕业于香港私立大专。1968年移居温哥华。书法作品在省立国家博物馆展出及收藏。1995年被「中国当代艺术界名人录」收列辞条。任温哥华及列治文中华文化中心之书法导师。曾任列治文中国书画篆刻学会会长。热心参加本地书画艺术活动。
Mr. Lau was born in Zhungshan, China and moved to Hong Kong
in 1957. He graduated in Chinese Language and Literature from Kingsway
College, Hong Kong in 1966. He also learned Chinese Calligraphy under Mr.
Kwung-Hou Fung. After he immigrated to Canada in 1968, he studied
Contemporary Art with Mr. Chien-Shih Lin. His art works were listed among
Contemporary Famous Arts of China in 1995 and have also been collected by The
Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa. Mr. Lau has held numerous solo and
joint exhibitions and teaches Calligraphy in the Chinese Culture Centre and
the Vancouver School Board.
