姚林， 女，白族， 一九六五年生。 畢業於雲南藝術學院。 一九九四年在雲南美術館舉辦建國以來第一個女書家書展。
一九九五年應邀在大理博物館舉行「白族女青年書法家姚林書法邀請展」，填補雲南明、清以來無一例女書家空白。 二零零零年移民加拿大，
現為中國書法家協會會員、 加拿大雲南聯合會理事。
Caroline was born in 1965 and immigrated to Canada in 2000. She
graduated from Yunnan Fine Arts College. She has held solo calligraphy
and painting exhibitions at Yunnan Art Hall, the Museum of Bai
Autonomous Prefecture of Dali and Singapore World Art Exposition Center.
Her art works have been published. Caroline has participated in
interviews in the public media in both China and Singapore. She has won
prizes from many competitions. She is also on the board of directors of
the Yunnan Association in Canada.
