出生于台北台湾。1971年毕业于台湾国立艺术专科学校雕塑科。1975年移民加拿大。早期作品大多为写实的人体雕塑，与传统的中国山水画。近年的作品比较走向现代写意。主题多以人物、家庭或人际关系为题材。材料以最能表现出主题而取材。有铜雕、木雕、石雕、陶土等。

Ms. Shaw was born in Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated from the National Taiwan College of Art in 1971 and majored in Sculpture. She immigrated to Canada in 1975. In the earlier stage of her art career, her works consisted mostly of sculptures, in life painting and traditional Chinese landscape. Her more recent works lean more towards the contemporary. Her subjects mostly concern family and human relations. She focuses too on Bronze and Sculpture pottery. Ms. Shaw is on the Board of Directors of the CCAFV (1999-2001).
