生于香港，后移居于加。毕业于加拿大爱美利加艺术学院，主修油画。先后被克福画廊及百利钟士画廊罗致于旗下。曾多次举办个展及联展。1999-2001年任华人艺术家协会理事。曾在「艺穗纵横」电视节目中浅谈油画。2000年获「千禧奖」。着有「苹果在我心」-黄玉娟油画与诗集。

Katie was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in 1969. She graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design, majoring in painting. She has been represented by the Heffel Gallery and currently by the Petley Jones Gallery in Vancouver. She is on the Board of Directors of the CCAFV (1999-2001) and has participated in numerous solo and joint exhibitions. Katie was interviewed in the show "All about Art" by Fairchild T. V. In year 2000, she received "Millenium Prize" from a juried exhibition. She has recently published a book entitled "Apple from my heart ; Katie Cheung paintings & poems.".
