黃玉娟
Katie Cheung
生於香港，後移居於加。畢業於加拿大愛美利加藝術學院，主修油畫。先後被克福畫廊及百利鐘士畫廊羅致於旗下。曾多次舉辦個展及聯展。1999-2001年任華人藝術家協會理事。曾在「藝穗縱橫」電視節目中淺談油畫。2000年獲「千禧獎」。著有「蘋果在我心」-黃玉娟油畫與詩集。
Katie was born in Hong Kong and immigrated to Canada in
1969. She graduated from the Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design,
majoring in painting. She has been represented by the Heffel Gallery and
currently by the Petley Jones Gallery in Vancouver. She is on the Board
of Directors of the CCAFV (1999-2001) and has participated in numerous
solo and joint exhibitions. Katie was interviewed in the show "All about
Art" by Fairchild T. V. In year 2000, she received "Millenium Prize"
from a juried exhibition. She has recently published a book entitled
"Apple from my heart ; Katie Cheung paintings & poems.".
