Donna Lui,

 

 

Cantonese, born 1943

• 1967 graduated from Canton Traditional Medical University, and worked as a family doctor for 13 years before immigrating to Canada in 1981.

• Studied Chinese painting, scratching, water painting, oil painting, and acrylic painting from various famous local artists.

• From 1991 on, participated in more than 40 exhibitions featuring Chinese and oil paintings as well as scratching.

• Painting appeared in five newspapers and featured in six catalogues.

• Donated paintings to various charity fund raising auctions including Missing Children’s Fund.

• 2003 received Chinese Culture Arts Association of Canada best drawing award.
