Lui, Cantonese, born 1943

1967
graduated from Canton Traditional Medical University, and worked as a
family doctor for 13 years before immigrating to Canada in 1981.

Studied
Chinese painting, scratching, water painting, oil painting, and acrylic
painting from various famous local artists.
From
1991 on, participated in more than 40 exhibitions featuring Chinese and
oil paintings as well as scratching.
Painting
appeared in five newspapers and featured in six catalogues.
Donated
paintings to various charity fund raising auctions including Missing
Children’s Fund.
2003
received Chinese Culture Arts Association of Canada best drawing award.
